**This is a 2 day course consisting of Day 1 classroom and Day 2 range portion** ----- Day 1 Classroom Portion 9am-1pm TBD **Confirmed location provided the Monday before class** Eldersburg, MD 21784 Day 2 Shooting Range starting at 9am Guntry 10705 Red Run Boulevard, Owings Mills, MD, USA ----- Curriculum Summary Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun, shotgun and AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training. This approved concealed carry Renewal class will accomplish the proper training to conceal in the District of Columbia which includes instruction on state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant to demonstrate gun safety and proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy. **Shooting portion will be scheduled with the instructor after completion of the classroom instruction** All applicants must shoot a course of at least 50 rounds, from no further than 15 yards and score at least 70% accuracy. **Additional $40 range fee will be collected the day of the scheduled shooting. Will provide firearm to shoot if needed.**

Upon purchase of service classes canceled more than 2 weeks in advance of the class start date can receive a full refund. Classes canceled less than 2 weeks of the class start date will ONLY receive half of payment refund or can reschedule for a later date. All No-shows will NOT be refunded or have the ability to reschedule.
